The Château de Seguin wine estate covers 173 hectares in one piece, including 95 hectares of vines.
The 95 hectare vineyard in one piece is made up of 91.5 ha of vines producing Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge and 3.5 ha producing Bordeaux Blanc or Crémant.
The terroir of Château de Seguin is made up of a mosaic of soils typical of the viticultural geology of the Entre Deux Mers. Essentially, these are clay-limestone hillsides, with a strongly stony subsoil, and sometimes steep slopes. According to the plots, there are strong and clayey soils, suitable for a good expression of Merlot, and lighter soils, sometimes sandy, sometimes stony, sometimes silty, always warm and filtering where Cabernets find a chosen ground.
