Set in a Charming Bastide (a traditional Provençal manor) nestled in the heart of the lavender fields near Avignon, this wedding was a masterpiece of faith, fragrance, and "Old World" charm. Here is how we brought this divine vision to life.

The Venue: A Charming Bastide in the Purple Sea

Near the historic city of the Popes (Avignon), we selected a private Bastide that offered the perfect balance of prestige and intimacy:

• The Lavender Horizon: We timed the wedding for the peak of the bloom (late June to July), ensuring the couple exchanged their first looks surrounded by endless rows of vibrant purple and the soothing scent of Provence.

• The Bastide’s Soul: With its sun-bleached stone walls, pale blue shutters, and centuries-old plane trees, the Bastide provided a grounded, authentic atmosphere for a family-centered religious event.

• Secluded Elegance: Located just outside Avignon, the estate offered total privacy for the prayer and the party, while remaining easily accessible for guests.

Planning the Sacred & The Romantic

A religious wedding in the countryside requires meticulous coordination to ensure the solemnity of the rite is respected within a natural setting:

1. The Altar in the Fields: While many couples choose the historic cathedrals of Avignon, we also coordinate with local authorities for outdoor blessings. We designed a simple, elegant altar framed by the lavender, allowing the religious ceremony to feel like a part of the Earth itself.

2. Romantic Scenography: We used a "Provence White" palette—crisp linens, white garden roses, and silver-green olive branches—to contrast beautifully with the deep purple of the fields.

3. A Symphony of the Senses: As the religious ceremony concluded, the sound of a live cello ensemble carried across the valley, transitioning the guests from a moment of prayer to a celebratory cocktail on the Bastide's terrace.

The reception continued in the country and chic area of the Grand Belly. All the spaces are arranged in such a way as to evolve on D-Day so that each stage is unveiled (pool area for the cocktail, dinner in a room all made of stones, floor dance space under a starry sky...).
